Brand Identity

The “Sand Castle”, built in 1934 under the direction of Henrieta Delavrancea, Romania’s first female architect, has long been a landmark of Eforie Nord.
With its interwar charm and modern-Mediterranean architecture, the building once hosted the famous “Roman Bar”, also known as The Magic of the Sea — a cultural and social hub of its time.
Today, this historic symbol is reborn as Henrieta Seaside Hotel, celebrating both architectural heritage and the spirit of seaside elegance.

CONCEPT
The brand identity pays tribute to Henrieta Delavrancea’s visionary legacy, preserving the interwar aesthetics while reinterpreting them through a contemporary lens.
The logo’s main symbol echoes the architectural silhouette of the building — a geometric form that radiates calm, harmony and timeless sophistication.
The color palette draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape — soft sands, deep blues and warm sunlight — evoking serenity and natural beauty.
The descriptor “Seaside Hotel” and the slogan “More Comfort” reflect the essence of the brand: quiet luxury, emotional connection, and refined simplicity.

OUTCOME
We developed a complete visual identity system that includes logo variations, stationery, postcards and communication materials — designed to capture the hotel’s unique blend of history, architecture and modern comfort.
The result is an identity that revives the interwar soul of the Romanian seaside — a tribute to the woman who dared to design a legacy.
