AVANT-GARDE INSPIRED BRANDING
The primary target audience of the festival is young people aged 20 to 30. The branding was inspired by Kazimir Malevich’s Suprematism, Wassily Kandinsky’s abstract painting, as well as the visual aesthetic of Depeche Mode’s album cover “Sounds of the Universe.”
In 2024, the festival’s theme is “Crossing Borders,” emphasizing the idea of transcending boundaries - whether physical, cultural, artistic, or personal. To capture the attention of young people and create a strong visual identity, SCAF’s branding combines pink and red + black and white, reflecting a youthful and energetic vibe. These colors not only attract visually but also symbolize passion, innovation, and creativity. The SCAF logo is abstract, modern, and concise, reflecting the essence of the festival. The logo design combines simple geometric elements and clear lines with a modern, clean font. For the branding, we have created illustrations that reflect the festival’s theme.
